I took Ty back to see Kathy, the therapist, on Monday. One of the things we discussed was Tyler not watching as much youtube videos and finding other things to do. He started getting upset, claiming that there was nothing else to do and that everything was BORING! She asked him what could he think of that wouldn’t be boring and he said if I played with him, but that I’m always “busy doing something else”. Kathy asked him doing what, and he said “stupid stuff, like stirring dinner… or something in the office… or, or she’s in the kitchen staring at the counter!!”. It took incredible willpower not to completely lose it laughing at that one… My new favorite pastime — staring at the kitchen counter! 🙂
