One nice thing about Tyler getting older is that on the ride home I get a lot more detail about his day than I used to. tonight on the way home he was telling me about the cake that Kathy got for allie’s birthday, and how “it was really hard to open”. He mention Liam, one of the older boys at daycare. I asked Tyler if he liked Liam, and he told me “yeah, he teaches me all kinds of stuff, like how to put my head under the water in the pool!”. Of all the things that went through my head when he started that sentence, how to put his under in the pool is refreshingly benign… 🙂
