You know that saying “you catch more flies with honey…”? It is true for toddlers too. I have gotten extremely tired of fighting Ty to get him in the car seat when I pick him up from daycare. I think I have figured out a trick to getting him into his seat with little or no fuss! I let him carry the keys until we get to the car, then I let him climb in front, put the key in and turn it. I told him “you can start the car, but then you have to get in your seat and buckle-buckle”. I wasn’t sure if it would work, but it has been working like a charm!
