Melting

I was talking to Kevin while getting dinner ready, and Ty was in the kitchen with us.  He was on the other side of the room, playing his DS.  With kids, even when you think they are preoccupied and not listening, somehow they still are.  I was telling Kevin how, the night before, Ty and I were snuggled together in his bed at bedtime and it was just so cozy and sweet that I didn’t even want to get up, so I let myself fall asleep there for a while.  I said to Kevin “I wanted to stay there and enjoy the moment, because who knows how long before he doesn’t want to snuggle like that anymore?”  Ty piped up from across the room “I’ll always want to snuggle, mama!!”   I think I melted into a puddle right there on the spot. 🙂
