Tyler was playing outside with Jordan again tonight. they were having a nice time, and after Jordan left to go home, Tyler asked me, “mommy, can Jordan spend the night?”. I told him not yet, maybe someday when they are older. (but not too much older, or her dad sure won’t be happy 🙂
Anyway, we were just getting ready for dinner when we heard a knock at the door. Jordan had brought her dinner so she could eat with us! Tyler was soooo excited to have a friend come over. He was running around the living room going “Jordan, look at this toy! Look at this! See my blankie? See my Shiner, see Mau?”. After a few minutes I heard Tyler say, “thanks for coming over, Jordan!”. I was so proud of him! He thought of it all on his own. After Jordan went home, I told him how proud I was of him, sharing his toys and thanking Jordan for coming over.
Judy might need someone to watch jordan for an hour or two Saturday night, so I told her if she can’t find someone, that Jordan is welcome to come over. So maybe Tyler will have company again on Saturday.
It’s so nice to see that he has developed so much since last summer. Last summer he was interested in other kids, but he wouldn’t really interact with them that much. Now he not only asks to play with other kids, but he talks to them and wants to interact with them.
